Our 8-year-old son absolutely loves attending Step Into Football – rain or shine, he never wants to miss a session! The training is the perfect balance of fun, intuitive learning, and solid technical development. It’s amazing to see how much he enjoys playing and growing alongside other like-minded kids who share his passion for the game.
The coaches are fantastic – not only are they incredibly knowledgeable, but they also know how to bring out the best in each child. They create such a positive and encouraging environment that every session ends with huge smiles all around. Our son has made some wonderful friends through the camp, and it's become a highlight of his school holidays. We couldn’t recommend Step Into Football more highly!

My child has an incredible time at the Step Into Football Camp every time he goes. The atmosphere is always both fun and supportive, and it was clear from day one that the coaches truly cared about his development. My son is often with coach Doz, who is absolutely fantastic — his energy, patience, and knowledge of the game have made a lasting impact. Not only has my child improved technically and gained confidence on the field, but he also comes home excited to share what he has learnt. I'm so grateful for the encouragement and guidance provided by the coaches, and we can’t wait to come back for the next camp!

My son can’t wait for half term to come around so he can Step Into Football. Well organised and good communication right from signing up to the days of the camp. Doz and James are great with all ages of kids and have a great understanding with them. At the end of the camp, my son always comes home with a smile on his face, asking to go again. Every child at pickup comes off the field smiling and happy, which is lovely to see.
Step into Football is a great place for them to make new friends and build their confidence.
The feedback message you get from them a couple of weeks after the camp finishes, about my son is a great touch.

The coaches are approachable, professional, and passionate about the delivery of the sessions. They keep it fun but also progress individual skills and technique while also providing feedback to parents.

James and Doz made him welcome from the get-go and have dealt brilliantly with his anxieties and fears. He always comes out of the sessions absolutely full of what they’ve done and who’s won the ‘World Cup’! It’s always about fun and participation and is exceptionally well run.

Harry has always felt welcomed into the Step Into Football camp; from the first attendance, he ran straight off when I dropped him and never looked back!
On collection Harry always leaves covered in mud with a buzz, whether it's from winning the trophy or making it to the penalty shootout final! He makes friends through the day and is always pushed with his abilities to make the most of his time there.
Thanks to Doz and James for pushing the camp and making it happen. Both guys are fantastic with the kids and well-experienced coaches, with Doz being Harry's 5-star skiller whom he always looks up to!
See you for the next one. I would highly recommend this camp to anyone. Please bear in mind I travel all the way from Bradford to come to Huddersfield with peace of mind that Harry will have fun and be cared for throughout the day.
